Well I really think that this is a truly original scenario as about 10 people have already told me so. What this is all about is pretty simple. All you have to do is wonder about in this great maze and try to find the two discoveries before the others do. Now to stop you from remembering where the discoveries are i'll just say that they are RANDOMLY generated for that extra replay value. This scenario has been tested in multiplayer and people that I have played it with said they loved it so I'm sure you will too. NAME: The Great Maze PLAYERS: 1-8 (absolute and ultimate maximum) NOTE - If you play it in single player it could get kinda boring after a while so i do recommend multiplayer TIME MAKING: I lost count after about 3-5 minutes STORY: Ok. So why "The Great Maze"? Well, while I was thinking about something COMPLETLEY different this amazing thought came to me, what if I make an Age of Empires scenario with a difference, a scenario that incorporates the element of suprize, and is being strategically challenging and yet not dull, but also has some replay value in it. So after clear thinking I thought to myself ; NAH forget it, and I just made this thing. What it basically is, is just a maze in an Age of Empires scenario. I think it is originall and If I snatched someones idea, sorry coz I didn't see it anywhere else on the net. INSTALLATION: Unzip this file to your AOE\SCENARIO directory I.E. if your AOE is in C:\age of empires then unzip to C:\age of empires\scenario OTHER: If you have any suggestions, complaints or glorious praises about this scenario mail to me at: gandra@actrix.gen.nz Have fun and PLEASE do not cheat just because I HAD to when I was testing it!!! ;
This is an 8 player custom victory condition map. Each player begins with a scout and 2 phalanx. The map is just a large maze of trees, there are no cliffs, water or elevation used. The goal is either conquest or discovering 2 randomly generated discoveries on the map. It's a neat idea but there's not a ton of action. Also, the map could use some more creativity and detail. The instructions have some obscenities which are not neccessary. Overall, it's a good idea that is perfectly balanced and has good replay value but is not without its faults.
