This is a B&D scenario where you first face a very tough defence from all 4 fronts, then you must venture out and destroy all the enemy commanders and capture their artifacts. The victory conditions worked well and there were no bugs or playability issues, and it was quite fun. I went with priests and elephants most of the time.
The scenario is very difficult at the beginning, but becomes easier later on. You have basically infinite resources and post Iron Age/full techs, so the rest is easy, and there are no loss conditions, but the enemy has some strong bases and remains active even though the AIs didn't seem particularly strong.
An interesting topic, with some unique looking map design and creative objectives.

The maps are basically all grass, designed on the default map. No eye candy, but desert paths throughout the base, and creative looking masses of stones, berries and gold in a huge L shaped pattern. The level is constructed well and fully functional, but the large areas of blank grass, the mainly terrain brush design and the infinite resources don't do much to boost the score.
The story and instructions are solid, but lack in effort - a historical scenario always needs research unless you are a scholar in history, and this one doesn't provide me the background info I would have liked to read.
An average, but most importantly fun scenario, so don't be afraid to give it a play.
