Number of Scenarios: 1
Difficulty: Mod-Hard
You are Mago, a young warrior and the last hope of your village to fight off the evil Scipiosi. Tomorrow you will set out for a difficult journey to find new allies. But in the night before your quest you have a vivid nightmare. While you are still dreaming, you realize that danger looms over your village. You must wake up! You will begin this scenario in absolute darkness. If you don't fight your sleep, the only thing you'll ever see on your black screen is the "You have been defeated" message... And no cheats, please. :-) NOTE: This scenario is in campaign format, so please copy it into your campaign folder. It works best if you play it on MODERATE or harder. Special thanks to Rich Parker for playtesting and help on .per files.

I thought I would never again see a scenario that could equal the creative genius of campaigns such as "Budonian Tales" and "The Tai Gun." I was wrong. This scenario, which I can safely say is one of the greatest of all-time, will keep you riveted for hours, and will have you staring with disbelief at many of the tricks that Ingo van Thiel, undoubtedly the greatest scenario designer, has come up with. In fact, this great work of art starts off with one of the most unique ideas ever. You start off on a totally dark map, and must find some way to fight sleep and wake up (quite literally). I won't give away any details, but this trick will clearly go down as one of the greatest of all time. After the initial trick, the gameplay never slows down. You will be tested in many ways. Gain allies, find a base, build up your forces, and fight your way into the Nomad's village. Only then will you be ready for your final challenge, one that I will not disclose here. I will only say one thing: play this campaign! Ingo van Thiel once again comes up with a perfect balance of quest, diplomacy, build-up, management, and battles, all the while keeping you riveted with a compelling storyline and great bitmap that make you feel a part of the scenario. Perfectly balanced, you will find this scenario to be just perfect for your skill level. Beginners will be able to play it, and experts will still find it to be a challenge. A great play for everyone! The map design is totally beautiful, with realistic-looking forests, towns, deserts, and much, much more. I know I am repeating myself, but there is really nothing bad I can say about this scenario. Why don't you give it a try?
