You are Mago, a young warrior and the last hope of your village to fight off the evil Scipiosi. Tomorrow you will set out for a difficult journey to find new allies. But in the night before your quest you have a vivid nightmare. While you are still dreaming, you realize that danger looms over your village. You must wake up! You will begin this scenario in absolute darkness. If you don't fight your sleep, the only thing you'll ever see on your black screen is the "You have been defeated" message... And no cheats, please. :-) NOTE: This scenario is in campaign format, so please copy it into your campaign folder. It works best if you play it on MODERATE or harder. I was going to review this campaign but as it recieved an excellent score first time around I thought I would make some comments. An excellent campaign for everyone. From our reviewer "Gain allies, find a base, build up your forces, and fight your way into the Nomad's village. Only then will you be ready for your final challenge." You need to peek at the hints to solve the first problem. I don't like to use hints as I feel it spoils the game, but it was needed here.
As stated this campaign will keep you riveted for hours, and will have you staring with disbelief at many of the tricks that our designer has come up with.
You start off on a totally dark map, and useing a unique trick you must awaken from sleep before you are slain. The reviewer is right when stating the gameplay never slows down and you are tested in many ways. A perfect balance of quest, diplomacy, build-up, management, and battles, all the while keeping you entertained with an excellent storyline that makes you feel a part of the scenario. A beautiful bitmap with map design that has realistic-looking forests, towns, deserts, and more.
With perfect balance, you will find this scenario to be a challenge, perfect for any skill level, from beginners to experts. A great play for everyone!
