This is the sequel to "The Monk of the Garden" and "The Monk of the Mountain." Go download them now if you want to know the begining fo the story. This scenario is set in the desert. The map looks kinda small ever though it's a large. Un like the first two, this one has more building and resource management. You still have to capture all the Ruins and kill the Monk. Lots more special effects than Mountain, but smaller battles. I think this is an enjoyable scenario. Multiplayer also : No
This is one scenario that you will not want to miss if you like a good, hard challenge. That's exactly what this well-designed, very good (not to mention very hard) level is. You start off with a force of two priests and two heros, and you must, among other things, break into a well defended enemy base and assassinate the enemy priest. There are other Victory Conditions, but this is your main goal. It took me quite a while to work out a good strategy, but all the time spent playing this scenario was very fun and rewarding indeed. It was extremely hard to find a way into the enemy city, all the while avoiding towers when possible. If you hope to have any chance at this scenario, you are going to have to learn to use your priests to the maximum, and not just for converting, either. The Map Design was very well done, with numerous tricks and effects used to create a beautiful-looking map. The Story/Instructions were good, with a nice-looking bitmap. Balance-wise, this scenario was hard (maybe a little too hard), but overall was good. The Playability was near-perfect, being very fun to play. You will need to work out your own strategy if you hope to have any success, and even then you will still be in for a big challenge. If that's the way you like it, then I would suggest that you DO NOT MISS this level!!
