Playability: 2

It was playable and worked as designed but was not something I enjoyed immensely or would play again.

Balance: 1.5

The first 20 minutes I was under attack as I set up my base but that tapered off and then I was left practically alone to build up my forces, except for the occasional small harassing force which fell to my towers and troops.

Creativity: 2

The author showed some creativity in the setup of the enemy forces -- their composition and defensive construction, and in the map design.

Map Design: 3

This looks very much like a standard generated Random Map, but the author has sculpted it so much that it takes on a strong character of its own. After Mssr. Gratien has finished working, we find that as we move over his map we see his initials in the landscape, an arrow pointing us in the safe direction, an X marking the spot where we might choose to build our Town Center, and a quite well composed home area protected by well connected cliffs.

Story/Instructions: 2

There are history, instructions and hints. They are barely understandable because they seem to have been translated from the author’s home language of French by some computer translation machine.

Additional Comments:

To the Player: I am afraid I cannot recommend this scen for a download unless you feel like a leisurely but uneventful slow build and destroy.

To the Author: Merci Beaucoup for your scenario. I like how you put the enemy forces together. Please test your scenario many times. I played it many times and each time, two Yams get stuck together on a shore and cannot move for the entire game. You will see this if you test it. There are other things you will see if you test the game. Do not use Aléatoire (random), use Aggressive and Death Match.

Notes: When we use a computer translator, some words never make it across the language barrier --'négosses' may be ‘négoces’ negotiations. ‘maudites’ would be accursed (like Spanish malditos). ‘rénégats’ is of course renegades. The Motobillettes are the Motorbikes. The Tous en Camions are the Truckers. I do not speak any French and I would welcome any help from native speakers.
