This is the sequel to "The Monk of the Garden." Go download that now if you want to know the begining. It is pretty hard and long. I think it's very unique, but you have to play it to appreciate it. It also uses the SnowMod wich can be dowloaded in the utilities section. You don't need it to play but it sure makes it look better. I would like a review of this. Multiplayer also : No
Nice scenario. Starting with a Priest & Xerxes, you must convert an army to slay an evil monk & find 6 ruins on a beautiful map. You have 2 CP allies, 3 enemies & 2 neutrals (who quickly become enemies). Your allies demand tribute every 3 minutes (too often, IMHO) to stay loyal, but they do a good job of keeping your enemies out of your hair. You can't build anything except TCs, SPs,a Government Center, houses, towers, farms & walls - all of which you'll need. Winning requires an early explore around your base with your Priest, a large force of peon miners, and as much captured military as you can get - especially cav & archers - unless you find the mountain's secret (I did). Fine story/instructions/hints, well-done mountain for the monk. Didn't try the snowmod, 'cause author doesn't say which one - Bill's or Pusbucket's. One VC didn't work: I won when I captured the last Ruin - didn't have to climb the mountain to kill the monk. Despite being a little tedious in the middle of the game, a solid challenge and worth a download.
