Hello there. I noticed that some files in the Granary can't be downloaded. Including the German add-on CD "Neue Level für Age of Empires", one only gets to see "file not found". Is it possible to fix the file? If not, I still have the CD and could provide its cpn and scn files. I'd also like to upload another German CD of the era that is not there yet.
Hey thanks for the heads up. No idea where they have gone, or how this happened in the first place. Guess a re-upload is in order, if the files can be found.
The following link might be useful. There are hundreds of files that were archived between 1998 and 2000 (type "zip" into the filter box). Haven't checked it thoroughly, but at least some of the missing files can be found. https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://age.gamestats.com/age/*
But the files still appear to be on the server. For example, copy the URL of "Hard Work at Labour.ZIP" and replace "age.gamestats.com/age" with "aoe.heavengames.com", you will be able to download the file.
Let me know whether "Neue Level" is still around.

I just tried your method for Hard Work at Labour, but the archive says Hrm. The Wayback Machine has not archived that URL.
Seems the case for the other missing downloads as well.
If anyone has these downloads/campaigns/scn, please post them in this thread or alternatively upload them to the Granary.
You can upload Neue Level and the other CD too, just remember it may take a few days before the file(s) get approved.
I should have mentioned that you also have to remove the web.archive.org parts of the URL. Just wanted to point out that most, if not all of those ancient files that were archived by the Internet Archive back then are still lying around on aoe.heavengames.com in the "downsnew" folder.
Normally, I would have posted a direct link to the file, but as far as I know, hotlinking ist not allowed.
Can you view the filenames for each of the non-working downloads? That would make it much easier to get hold of them.

Okay thanks that may help, I haven't got the time to try this out now, maybe in the coming days.
I'd have to check the old Granary (downsnew) part, I think some of the campaigns you mentioned that are missing might indeed still reside there.
On the pages of the scenarios Jungle and Junglefever 1 (by different authors), skald noted that the files are identical. It seems that Jungle was overwritten by Junglefever 1, both files being named Jungle.zip.
Fortunately, the older Jungle scenario was archived before that happened, and can be downloaded here (found via ancient Granary snapshot).

No, unfortunately I can't, because they are not there. It will take a while to go through the old site and try to locate them, hopefully they are indexed by the web archive.
In case of Jungle fever, the updated or newer version is the one that stays available.

Guess what, even the old Granary lists are still in the downsnew folder (last updated in late 2004). For example, on downsnew/aoeindex/dwncampaign995.shtml there is "Brothers", and on downsnew/rorindex/rorcamp99.shtml you can find "Caeser". Unfortunately, even these two downloads are dead.
Everything else works, though: Hard Work at Labour: downsnew/dlfiles/scmulti/Hard Work at Labour.zip Easy!: downsnew/dlfiles/scsingle/easy!.zip Jewish Revenge: downsnew/dlfiles/scsingle/Jewish.zip Delta 2: downsnew/dlfiles/scsingle/delta2(1.zip Italy: downsnew/dlfiles/scsingle/italy.zip Island of Perseus: downsnew/dlfiles/scsingle/theisl~1.zip
The add-on CD was only uploaded in 2009, when the files were no longer directly linked.

I compared the scenarios found in the archived Jungle.zip and the currently available one. What was stated by skald in the comment sections is correct, they are entirely different works by different authors. The file for Jungle by Robrecht Van Zandweghe was accidentally overwritten with that for Junglefever 1 by Tobi. So the download for Robrecht's scenario should be changed to the archived file I linked in my previous post, while Tobi's Junglefever 1 stays the same.

Thank you so much for finding the correct downloads and posting the links! *bows* All of them have been updated and can be downloaded again, with the exception of Caeser: Romes Greatest Hero Trial Version and Neue Level. Yes, I found Brothers - Till death do us part, not too long ago I uploaded a collection of old campaigns from a disk called Virgin Territories, and thought it might be in there - it was

That was quick! You're welcome.
Also, thanks to the staff member who approved my first file on AoEH. Regarding Neue Level, could I post a temporary link for the ZIP here so that someone of AoEH adds it to the existing entry? Or should I submit a new one instead?
By the way, what's up with the empty category "Pretty Town Contest Entries"? Did it ever contain anything?
Another question: The All Hidden Units mod for Return of Rome was uploaded to the Granary - will AoEH also cover Return of Rome scenarios in the future?

Post a link to Neue Level here, I will add it. But you can also choose to submit it yourself, and I could remove the old one.
The pretty town contest category somehow never worked, we can't move files there. Being worked on.
And yes, I've done a request to add new RoR categories to the Granary, they are coming
Here it is: (temporary link removed) Only includes campaign and scenario folders, it should be essentially the same as the ZIP uploaded by rasteve in 2009.
Also, there is an old page for Windows add-ons, downsnew/dwnlogos.shtml . Apparently, at least some of those files didn't make it to the current Granary?

Great news!

Updated Rasteve's entry, can be downloaded again, many thanks

I didn't move the files from the old Granary back then. I guess they were kept out because these files/addons most likely were no longer compatible (meaning everyone had moved to a newer Windows version), in any case I can no longer ask the one responsible (spineman IIRC). I guess they could be added though.
The "downsnew" folder appears to be gone. Therefore, on every page of the Granary there is the broken image "txtGranary.gif" now. It can still be found here, but I wouldn't object to something fresh (the latter goes for the non-broken logo, too).

It's between the AoEH logo and the Granary sprite, with the alternate text "Welcome to The Granary (Download Central)".

Because the image is unavailable, only the alternate text is seen. Certain browsers also display an icon for a broken image there, while other ones show just the text, it's less noticeable in the latter case.
