We have only Mac computers here at my house, and I would like to show my kids Age of Empires. My favorite scenario was Holy Man from the Babylonian campaign (I think). I went to Steam to see if I could purchase it, but it looked like the version they had was only for Windows...

That sucks! Maybe I should get a used Windows laptop or desktop. Running a virtual Windows on a Mac is a pain, as we did it years ago to run a statistics program...
So, do you think that I could get the original version? Would that be on a disk? My current Macs don't have a disk...maybe I could put it on one of my old Mac minis...How would I know that it could be used on a Mac?
It would be awesome to show my kids the Holy Man campaign. I love that thing!

AOE1 was indeed released for Mac, but it was released in 1997, back then Macs ran Mac OS 8 and later Mac OS 9. The game isn't compatible with Mac OS X, so if you want to play it on a modern Intel Mac, you will need Sheepshaver or QEMU.
Also, AOE1 for Mac never received ROR. It's still worth playing even without that though, AOE1 by itself is still a great game.
AOE2 did have a Mac OS X release, but it was only for PowerPC Macs, I don't think it ever received an Intel conversion.
Not sure if it's okay to share a link this but maybe I'll describe it. If you can't find a copy of AOE1 for Mac on CD, go to macintoshgarden.org and look it up there.
