Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum is indeed massive. For centuries people thought it was a mountain.

In my opinion the one that would fit better the chinese in the AoE timescale is Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum.

Although Salomon's temple was not Phoenician, I agree it could be a nice inspiration as the Phoenician culture must have influenced heavily the hebrews.
On the other hand, I think the Pharos (Lighthouse) in Alexandria was Ptolemaic, not Macedonian. However I can't think of a Macedonian wonder except maybe the Colossus of Rhodes (which I am not sure was Macedonian either) and would look like the current greek wonder.

Yeah I found several sources that say the temple in Jerusalem was build similar to the Phoenician temples and used Phoenician known-how and building materials.
The Macedonian wonder is indeed not the most ideal one but I think it still fits since it was build in a Hellenistic style.

If someone build a code for moving parts i think it will be more usefull than a decoration. In the DE the trireme has moving oars if i remember correctly

could be possible to do, who knows.
I'm personally not interested at all in adding one of AOE2's worst things into AOE1, but maybe it's possible.
An idea would be to have a building with a "task swap group" id (just like villagers) : have 2 versions of the building, one being a normal building, the other one like farms (traversible).
The only customization to do would be a button to manually switch, and actually do the unit type switching. Which makes not that much to do, finally.
I'm not talking about automatic opening of the doors here !
And I don't know how pathfinding would behave there.
