It's because of the "hill" you guys requested. If I get rid of it, it can be 4x4. I can also change it a bit so it fits better with the Mesopotamian set but it already fits nicely actually.

The Hittite wonder is looking great, but the hill surrounding it looks artificial. Maybe you could add some irregularities to the terrain to look more natural?

The Iron age Egyptian temple is a good example of a building sitting on a hill that you could use as a model.

It's a wip. Haven't sculpted the hill yet.

Edit:
Do you guys prefer this version?

Once again you wow me with your modeling skills, that is now my favorite building you have created.

One question though why did you make the roof like that, it doesn't make it look bad, I just haven't seen it in any other depictions of Hittite architecture

Lost Empires Mod
Maybe it's only a fool who'll perilously journey out to what might not be there. But if you want to solve problems, you don't just solve the ones that are there, you find more and make more and go after the impossible ones.
The neanderthals never ventured into the unknown and they went extinct, so who are the fools?

Well in all fairness except for 1 or 2 artistic (fantasy) drawings I haven't seen any depiction of Hittite rooftops.

I could do it like this which is more similar to the Mesopotamian temple.

Ok thanks for the feedback.

I've made a first version of the mod and uploaded it to the blacksmith granary.

If anyone knows how to fix the blue player color bug, let me know.

I think the ancient chinese need a new wonder as the Temple of Heaven is far too recent, it was built during the Ming Dynasty between 1402 and 1420 AD.

For new civilisation I think the following moneuments can work as wonders
Germanics:
The King's Grave

HŚga mound

Celts:
Goseck Henge

Goloring

Stonehenge (technically Stonehenge was built long before the arrival of the celts in Britain therefore should not count)

Callanish Stones (once again built before the arrival of the celts in Britain but I found them to be really impressive and unquie

Dacians:
Sarmizegetusa Regia

Scythians:
Mausoleum of King Scylurus

The Royal Kurgan of Kerch

Armenians:
Van citadel

Musasir temple

Maurya (ancient India)
Great Stupa at Sachi

Arabians
Marib Temple

Ad Deir, Petra

Al Khazneh, Petra

Those are some intriguing ideas for the wonders, a particularly agree with your decision for Mauryan's wonder.
I and others on the forum would appreciate it if you could link to the pictures instead of showing the images in all its glory as it takes up to much space on the thread.

I wonder while we are at it I wonder if we could also add in Hispanians (includes all the people who lived in pre-roman Spain such as the Celticiberian tribes, the Lusitanians and the people of the semi-mythical city of Tartessos) and the Ethiopians (the people who all lived in the nile river basin areas south of Egypt such as Kush, Nubia and Punt)

Hispanians
Cancho Roano

Nubians
Jebel Barkal

El-Kurru

MeroŽ

Nuri

The last four sites (Jebel Barkal, El-Kurru, MeroŽ and Nuri) are not Ethiopian but Nubian.

I decided to have rename the Ethopians to Askum and they will have the Northern Stelae field of Axum.

The pyramids I've shown earlier will be given to Nubia

Yes indeed Axum lies in modern Ethiopia, and the Pyramid structures were built by the Nubians (btw I corrected your previous post).

There's one problem I see with the word 'Ethiopian' and is that such denomination for an ethnic group has been used too loosely historically since the times of Herodotus, for many different groups, some that are actually Ethiopians while others that are not.

I find that The use of Ethiopian by western scholars in the past was like the use of the word 'Frank' by Near Easterners during the crusades.
