This is the pretty town contest for 2007. In this contest you have to make a village, a city or a town on a map, which is good looking. The tester has to see all the city. You can add slums and nearby villages, as well as different tilesets. No gameplay but you may include a story, a bitmap and everything you like, but remember - no gameplay. There must be no .cty files and no mods (except the enhanced editor). Your city can either be historical (Like Athens and Babylon for example) or fictional. The maps must be in SCN/SCX format.
-Use Language/x.dlls, .AIs and .PERS.
-No restrictions in the tileset/colour (Of course, the city must not be owned by the player). You can either place units (which must be blocked) to make sure the player sees the city or you can instruct the player to type no fog/reveal map.
-Make teams as long as you tell me.
-Use AoE or RoR.
-Add villagers and units to make a city active and bustling metropolis (recommended and rewardable).
-Use .CTY files.
-Add gameplay, dynamics or battles.
-Use mods or utilities other than the Enhanced Editor.

These are the rating categories. You can take up to 5 points for each one.
Buildings - The logical placement, the color (because the civs buildings look better with different colors), arrangement, creativity and amount of buildings.
Terrain - The placement of terrain and/or terrain features. Does it fit with the overall scheme? Or it was just randomly placed.
Beauty - This is a tilt. Are there enough eye-candies? Does the city look realistic? Is it creative?
Include a notepad file for the important things - name of the city, historical or fiction and other notes. Files must be compressed in a ZIP file and sent to me (nikokol(at)abv(dot)bg).
I hope this will work and good luck to all!
