I don't understand. Since we're the official site for AoE/RoR, and probably the only active community left for this game, why don't we recreate AoEH as a gathering site for all the players out there? If we can do so before the Zone closes down, I'm sure we can retain a lot of players out there. No doubt, we'll also liven up this place by quite a bit.

I love AoK (and TC) a lot too, but not as much as AoE/RoR. I do know that many of the forumers here enjoy AoK too (Dangrimm for example). As for AoE3... I'm quite ok with it, since I've only tried the demo. I do know that many AoEers and AoKers dislike it, though.

Well, I played Empire Earth a little and saw AOM (didn't like the graphics much). I toyed a bit with the AoK demo. The AI of EE was too hard for me, and I didn't like its graphics - when you zoom in a lot the polygons are all too obvious - the canned phrases (the grunts of the Stone Age villagers were okay but I grew tired of that "By the Gods" pretty soon. My main objection is that those games are in a way all the same: you have a bunch of units with different health and attack strengths, different canned phrases and looks, and when you have explored one game you've basically explored them all.
