Got XP (Pro, as it appears), but the thing is, even EE and EE:AOC work on that (only AOC says XP for system requirements out of EE games 1 and the exp), and AOE Gold Edition has XP listed. Would it be safe there?
What about the 1Mb graphics card? Since as Doom 3 has had top graphics on the computer, plus I've played a load of other games with higher than DirectX 5, would it still be safe there?
And also the P120 MHz...what about that? I think it is higher than that on the computer.
Plus the RAM and hard disk space...well, 4 x CD-ROM is already on the computer because EE and EE:AOC are on and working very well, and there is lots of disk free space apparently.
Just curious about whether it might work or not on the computer. Classical game, proud to be able to be reaquanted with it soon (well, in two Saturdays for me, really...but still, would rather have good news or bad news sooner than later).
Thanks for any help you can give.
If anyone has higher systems still use AOE, could you please reassure me...I can get worried easily at times...
PS: Starfleet Command still works on XP Pro, and that game is from around 1999 (works quite well, actually...sure, when there's a lot on the screen it goes a bit jerky and slow...but sometimes games can do that, I guess).
