Okay, what is WRONG with Peter Jackson, the guy who directed The Fellowship of the Ring? I mean, barring the existance of the book, the movie was good and all, but --- AHH! He totally squashed the first part of the book together, made everything the fault of poor Pippin, gave the part of Arwen to Liv Tyler and blew her part all out of proportion! Then he had the cheek to shove Elrond and Arwen down into Lothlorien and make them play Celeborn and Galadriel. And Boromir doesn't even die until the Two Towers!!! AHHHHH!!! He made Gandalf scary, and undermined the horse's roles. And Frodo might have tried to give the ring to Galadriel and Gandalf, but that wasn't the big deal that the director made it into. He made to movie about the ring, and solely the ring. There WAS a journey there too, buster, and a pretty interesting one! One can tell the way that Jackson is a fat guy (like the Comic Book Store Guy on the Simpsons) because he made all the monsters so big, and that he likes Liv Tyler. He took the paragraphs about Frodo turning Ring Wraith-ish when he put it on, and turned into into big dream sequences. He should know that people would go through the movie with a fine tooth comb and check it all. Most of the movie is quite accurate, but it should have been an hour longer. It's not like there would be a lack of funds for a LOTR movie. Hmph.
