i have been playing alot on the zone these dayz.

I played rm with many a people.

I asked people about slingshot and most of them didnot know about it.

Then i and rieekan4 tried it out.

This was our accomplishment

I was the bullet and rieekan4 was the feeder.

By 13 i had a good tool army(10 slingers and axemen)

By 17 i had a good bronze army(3 cats and 15 chariot archers)

I iron by 20 minutes.

And has a huge iron army by 24(10 hcats and 10 heles).

This force was almost unstoppable.

I could have ironed by 17 if i had done gold early.

Can anyone tell me his best slingshot strategy.

I am still curious about the roles and what should the feeder and the bulled do by how much time.

I hope this super strategy is invoked again

Well thankz alot for the link but i tell u there is alot of diffrence between reading and doing.

I hade read the strat along time back

What i was telling was no one uses the once an almost invincible strat.

When i say invoking it means we should understand it and then apply it to the full.

Well i am expecting replies from blitzkreighcommin ,shiny ,wedsaz and alot more good players

This strat requires team practice.... probably why it isn't used anymore. There are good players still in RoR, but very few good teams.

I have never seen this executed well on the Zone. Here is why:

1) Good players attack early these days. It is hard for the feeder to get to Tool, wall in, and wait to get help while his partner has to fight off multiple opponents early.

2) Good players build military buildings for what their economies can support. If the feeder isn't consistent then it takes the bullet out of his game. If I build 8 Archery Ranges and expect 1000 wood, but get 500... there will be confusion. It takes lots of communication.

3) Generally speaking, time is on the side of the opponent. The feeder typically stays in Tool and doesn't expand resources much. The bullet usually gets occupied fighting on several fronts and doesn't grow much of an economy.

I remember a 3v3 game where SuN_Cam_Popov was Palmy and was feeding SuN_Scrappy (Shang). As I Tooled I saw Scrappy's buildings turn to Bronze. About 2 minutes later my partner was saying there were 6 Chariot Archers in his town. Those Chariot Archers soon came to my town also. Our team continually moved economies, rebuilt, and tried to defend. Scrappy kept booming Chariot Archers and sending them to our towns. Ultimately I was able to get a strong economy and we gained the upper hand. The game was over soon because Popov was still in Tool with 35-40 villagers and Scrappy was getting dbl teamed by bigger armies.

Nah, you wouldn't believe me.

True, most people (even experts) don't know how to play feeder and bullet properly, nor teamwork in general. Many times I heard 'expert' allies say 'just play' after we outlined a team plan for 30 minutes and I picked my civ accordingly...

sorry I have never used it or have had it used against me. remember I've only been playing for 3 months...seems very risky though and you would have a small window of dominance wich you would have to attack QUICKLY AND hard...

FYI, always looking for someone to play intermediate lvl play throughout the day, just Email or ZM me Shiny_411 and

Here is another reason why it is hard:

If you are in a 2v2 game and each of your opponents do 38-40 vills, Tool in 12:00, Bronze in 15:00. This gives them a combined economy of 76 villagers.

For a feeder-bullet to work, you both need to get to Tool in under 9:00. That means 20-23 villagers and no docking until Tooling. The feeder must wall. At 12:00 or so your team is looking at a 76-80 to 40-46 ratio. So even if you get one opponent completely killed off by 14:00, you still are looking at an even team economy.

I would only advise this strategy in games you really shouldn't win. It is risky, so if you lose trying this at least you can say you were gonna lose anyways. Sometimes you can get lucky, but more often than not you are gonna have time working against you and you will lose.
