AoE patch C and RoR patch A (one in the same) causes some games to crash (returning to the desktop or freezing) if you load a saved game file, this does not happen all of the time; however I esimate 6.5 out of 10 times you save the file will not load. This error happens on both this computer and my moms- both installed with the C patch. I was wondering if there is any way around this error and if Ensemble knows about it. Once a file is saved and "corrupted" -as in you cannot acsess it, is there a way you can retreve it, like trying it on a computer with out the C patch?

Save it to 5 different files. Chances are you'll be able to retrieve one of them.

Aarrgghh!
That one reminds me of a Wizard of Oz joke. You know, the king wants good weather for the next day and the wizards conjures up a storm as you've never seen before. Then he says: chances are zero that we get such weather two day in a row.

Some of the bugs go pretty deep. Sometimes the music goes on even after I close Windows - and the message "You can shut don the computer now" appears or whatever the message in English is - showing that they don't abide by their own rule that everything should be passed to Windows.
