1. At the end of the game you can also see the complete map.
2. Better memory management - with 48 MB you shouldn't get into lag problems on a huge map IMO - and I do.

This has been suggested to death, but: hide score information until the end of the game.

5) idle scout key
6) better handling of groups so that a group of villies won't queue up when attacking an enemy tower - I hate having to micromanage every single one of them for that and the CP has no trouble with it whatever
7) Intelligent music - if your army marches out, "We'll meet again" is played for instance.
8) patch loading saved game hangning the game
9) More stats at the end - I also want to know how much stone or wood a civ gathered that managed to stay in the stone age for the entire game - that happens all too often.

10) smart military - when scout ships are attacked they stop firing at FBs and fight back. Also military units don't get attracted like magic to towers anymore if they have no chance of destroying them (This is a very important one )

Sorry.

OD:

A 500Mhz "thingy" and you are still stroking your keyboard.

1.) New map designs. Tired of AoE RoR maps.
2.) Military units that attain vetren satus eventually.
3.) "Smart" peeps. Grab a couple woodies to throw down another pit or whatever and once it is completed they begin chopping again without being told to.

What are you apologizing for?
smart peeps: thought of that too; but what if the pit is near say wood and stone/gold? you still gotta tell them what to do then.
well, no new techs here - this is a patch thread.
saw an AOE CD for sale for about $10 in a shop today - forget new techs by MS.

1) Ability to pass custom scenarios to others so you can play them on the Zone.

For flaming in your thread.

Cent:

I am not 100% sure, however I believe you can pass senarios to other people and then play them on the Zone. I have seen games titled..."Custom Senario".

Sorry, those people are Zone newcomers who don't realise you can't. The program to transfer scenarios was only introduced to AoK.

Why couldn't I e-mail a senario to you...you extract it into the senario folder...we hook up via modem connection...I host a game...choose the senario...and we play.

Wouldn't it pull up the senario you installed? Keep in mind I am not a computer wiz as most of you youngsters here are.

Gentlemen plz - think of the jolly subject

My first pc had 640 kb memory, 10 Mhz speed and a 20 MB HD - on such a comp programming was still rewarding. Since then the trend has been that comps got ever faster and programs got ever slower. And as ppl are prepared to buy extra RAM or faster processors, software developers can go on like they did. I'm simply not impressed by comps having 6400 MB memory - I just might be impressed by a program that works well on a system that it was designed for.

Sumerian Leper: Yes you can do that but what if you made a scenario you wanted to play with everyone not just friends?

Put it on a website with instructions on how to install it, then put the URL in the room description when playing on the zone. Anyone can download it, install it, and then play.

Lost count; never mind.

Priests auto heal units within range and then really all units within range - very often they skip units quite close now.
STs keep out of range of enemy towers when aiming at villies - even better would be that they stop aiming at villies.

I know this was stated earilier, but I still above all want that save game error fixed.

The ability to have on (ship)board fighting, as was really done, and ramming- for triremes to be even more vital.
