sweet...warning though.
20 gigs is great, but the more stuff you put on that HD, and the more fragged it gets, the more unstable your internet connection will get. If you can, have your HD automatically defragged every night...every week is sufficient if you have a good prog like norton speed disk.
RTS games are getting to the point where they need to take better advantage of 2d acceleration, too. RTS games are choppier for me than 3d games...in fact 3d games AREN'T choppy, only RTS games are.
tips;
use the hotkey as much as possible, and put your buildings (stables, archeries) in groups with ctrl+x. It saves a lot of time when you don't have to go to where the production is taking place to get it going.
be afraid to stop...if you find yourself with nothing to do at any point in the game, you should be near panic.
Don't wait until you have a great force to strike...send in a small force to scout and hopefully target villies. Meanwhile you can worry about mounting a real force.
