It is basicly a new empiresx.exe with no cheats codes in it. If you want it, email me at

I'm very interested in this program. Have you tested it and does it work? And would you by any chance know HOW it works?

Curiously, wouldn't this have no effect on anything as it would only matter if cheats did not exist in BOTH players versions ? If I take a no cheat version and my opponent still has a cheat version then couldn't he still cheat ?

wouldn't the person using the trainer need the edited .exe?

never mind fangr posted the same question right before me

More importantly, where did it come from? I presume this is not something that was released by ES?

Wouldnt this throw the game out of sync?

How would I know it does what you say or it's a trojan?

I would certainly be cautious about loading any program that I wasn't sure of. This new .exe could just load netbus or any trojan horse on to your computer.

A new empiresx.exe with no cheats codes in it? Dude, you decompiled the original *.exe and commented out the cheats?. My guess on trainers is that they work on some status files created during the game, hence not requiring decompiling and other drastic stuff. I am not doubting your ability, just well, you know... And your email address:, uhmm, well...

Yeah i was just gonna point a couple of things....if you got the new exe youd have to play someone with it also or the one who sint hosting would drop cause of sync errors when the game starts.....actually now that i think of it it wouldnt let you start cause it would be like in regualr aoe someone with version 1.0a trying to play someone with 1.0b....

I have tested on it and it works like this:

In a game, as long a one person has this program and if anyone tpyes a cheat code, every will get a snc error.(test with cheat on for i dont have a ror trainer)

It is not a "trojan" for i ran it on my computer and nothing happened, and also because i have norton 5.0 and if this program is a trojan, norton should tell me.

any one who beleive that ror does exist and is interested in this program please email me at

i may put it on a web page if the number of people who want this program grows too high.
