About the Scenario
With Persia conquered, Alexander looked eastward to the lands of India, said to have been conquered by the god Dionysus in primal times. Although the Macedonian king had lost many men in his previous conquests, Alexander's adventure in India would prove the most dangerous. India would take most of his army and perhaps even cost him his own life.

In this 3-scenario campaign, fight Porus on the banks of Hydaspes, battle the Mallians down the Indus River, and go on a journey through a hostile river delta with Nearchus.

After uploading to the Granary, I noticed the balance for scenarios 1 and 2 was a little off. I have made an updated version that's a little more balanced than the original upload. I will update the AoE Heaven version when the original is approved.

Approved! You can update it now.

Your recent scenarios have been stunning, keep it up.

Maybe it's only a fool who'll perilously journey out to what might not be there. But if you want to solve problems, you don't just solve the ones that are there, you find more and make more and go after the impossible ones.

As requested I replayed mission two with the update.

As suspected it played much differently without a priest I was quite cautious and won the scenario on speed 1.5\2.0 throughout. The opening section seems surprisingly difficult;this time I lured most of the warsships north and killed them, but as my fleet seemed be getting worn down I simply pushed their remaining 2 war ships into the waterfall area (they back up as you get closer) and allowed my boats to die, and their boats became passive. So I ran my transport with all my units and landed on the left side ontop of the stone thrower, and killed it and a few bowmen quickly. After this I went down and got the four warships on the next river, and began chopping wood. I poked down this river and lured out every warship, returning my boats to be repaired as needed to avoid losses. Then I took the warships and only a transport with a villager, thinking to return for the troops as needed. After getting the catapult+3 hoplites and repairing the boats there, I began poking around the defenses of multan. I was fearing the armoured elephants considerably since even 10 war elephants last time took considerable casualties in a careless assault. I noticed the bowmen were protecting the dock and outranged my boats, but they pursued my ships outside the city and were then gunned down on the shore, and the two towers were hit by the catapult from islands. Then it was only the two elephants, and I landed the catapult to the right and took a few potshots, moving them out of position so my three hoplites could finish breaking down the dock and grabbed the artifact, winning by somewhat artifical means :P

Nothing wrong with a little sneakiness! I wouldn't have put the opening there with the dock if I didn't want that to be an option. In real life, after all, Alexander scaled the walls and dropped into the city.
