Hi. I'm back. For now.
Instead of playing the game this time, however, I finally started to do some modding. Of course I'm starting simple, with AGE 3, but maybe it'll develop into something bigger...
I've replaced all the vanilla civs with new ones, but of course I have to use the existing tilesets, which means significantly stretching the truth in most circumstances. But that's okay with me for now.
However, I do want to change the civilization names, and I'm not sure of the best way to do it. Is it in the language files? Should I use Pebble32?
Most other things I've wanted to do, I've been able to do pretty easily (tech trees, civ bonuses, etc.). But I also wanted a civ to start with 200 initial gold, which works perfectly okay in Default resources but not in Medium or High. It worked with Default regardless of how I did it (in the civilization tab or in the tech tab using resource modifier, set or add). So how could I do this? I came here because Keisari Tapsa already answered what he could, by the way.
I called this topic "Various modding questions" because I'm sure I'll have many more. Not sure if I'll ever get around to making .ai files, so for now I just use the Default one and the various other generic ones. I'm mostly just doing this for fun, nothing serious right now. But I'd still like help with the things I mentioned. Thanks in advance.
