I've played the game for around a year or two after finding it by pure luck, and familiarizing with the mechanics, the editor tricks and getting addicted to this game etc.. So I thought of making a historically accurate campaign which I took 3 years to research on back then.
But I am aware that the DE version has already been released, but I still have the original version, and not the DE version yet. So, is it still worth it to make a campaign on the original game than on the DE version? Especially when there are changes made on the DE version which made a few campaigns unplayable there? Or should I wait until I buy the DE version and start there?
I've already began on this project, and the storyline, scripting, and the ending has been brainstormed - which took many months of planning; mapping would probably take 2-3 years to finish at this rate, so I'm kinda curious to know if this is all worth it.
