I started out ok and found blue at five across some narrows. The map was cont. but it had rivers criss-crossing it. I built two barracks by blue and some docks too. In tool i attacked blue with slingers and scout ships. I then walled the narrows while attacking him. Red was amassing compys behind my wall. Blue's ally came and together they destroyed my barracks. However I had hurt blue's economy pretty bad. My other two allies, green and yellow were having skirmishes in the north part of the map. Red decided to make a push thru the narrows by my base. I opened up the wall and the invasion was on. I first made camels then switched to calvary. I made st'rs while red ironed and had compys backed by cats. It took us a full twenty minutes to gain a little ground from blue. He was backed by orange and grey. Red was awesome the whole game. He was relentless. I think his name was ebunny. He got ballista and cats and ever so slowly we started pushing blue back. Every now and then we would get stalemated then start again. I then had to feed red lots of wood for his war machine while my cav tried to protect his cats.
It was a stalemate in the north so we pushed on. I made war galleys to harass the enemy. I still didn't iron because I was constantly producing cav to protect red's cats from chariots. In a 4v4 the resources go quick. Red then got on a roll and together we ate a path all the way to the heart of the enemy. Yellow had triemes on the coast taking out docks and buidings as he went.
I have to say it was one of the most fun games I've played in a while. I plan to play more 4v4's in the future. You should have been there Jehu. It was a blast!!
