Charoits are fantastic! And by the way, cavalry is not gone. It is a most if you are going to attack watch towers/walls. Chariot archers can not take out towers and walls.

Having just played Yammie (random civ), I concur w/ Sting. Due to the fact that massive camel rushes/build-ups are rare (and rightly so, given their cost & limitations), massed cav are still tough to defend, and thus Yammie is still a viable attack civ (if no longer among the elite).

I'm retired from ROR now pretty much. EQ is taking all my time. I don't remember losing a game against scythe chariots in ror. I won a lot using them, but every time someone attacked me with them I always took them out using some sort of combined army. CHariot archers are pretty easy to beat if you can wall in. Cavalry still sucks, always sucked and always will suck as long as it costs as much as it does. Cavalry should only cost around 60 gold for all civs.

I don't have any input on getting sick of chariots, but I have one question: Why do chariots have x3 resist.. whatever? Why not cav or elef of infanty? why chariots?
