And I highly recommend using your browser's capability to "View Source" anytime you see something neat that you don't know how to do. Most of HTML is pretty transparent, although it can be a little cryptic at times.
Once you learn this, you are ready to learn the basics of thumbnailing...

If you are planning to put screencaptures on the forums, here are some suggestions:
* convert it to JPEG, and save with the medium / medium-low setting so that it loads fast. In photoshop it's generally somewhere between 3 and 5. * Consider resizing or cropping the picture if it's possible...
