What are your opinions about this tactic? Personally, I think it can be powerfull and is a underrated tactic, but it has to be done fairly on to be effective. Cavalry has few weaknesses when right out of the Bronze age, but soon Hoplites and Priests start showing up...

I mention it because, since the Cavalry-line of this game is arguably suppose to be equivalent to the Knight-Line, one COULD argue this tactic is suppose to be equivalent to the Knight Rush of AoK... Except I find Knight Rushes to, of course, be far superior. As much as I find the Cavalry-line to be underrated on this game... If only their pierce armor wasnt made out of sandpaper...

You can rush with cavalry and camelry. I see no issue with it. Chariot rushing is more common, though.

You will start with your friend a quiet multiplayer game, you slowly advance to tool, then bronze, and start Cavalry Rush.

You spend all your money and materials for success of this rush, trained and prepared 30 cavalry. Someone clever, and starting preparing counter anti-cavalry Camel Rush. Then you're totally absolutely mucked up with 15 cheap camels,

Think guy, think!!! You should pick a rush with less counters, for example Chariot Archer (camels have against them half bonus of against horse cavalry, and they can outmaneuver them) or axemen rush (beware of enemy advancing to bronze) or such...

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Hebrews 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

The thing is, not all civilizations have access to the Camel Rider. For the ones who dont, it is much harder to transition into Hoplites then it would be to transition into, let us say... Well, actually, ironically, for camel-less civilization, Cavalry are probably your best bet against Chariot Archers right out of the Bronze Age . Composite Bowman also work, but again, takes a bit longer to transition into then.

Axeman rush is nice, but I prefer to do it only when I am plaiyng as a civ with the economy to pull it off( Like the Shang or the Palmyrians ), or else I personally prefer not to take my chances with it. Chariot Archer rush is a classic, and I am not deniyng that it is very effective, but I would rather not be tied down to only one tactic. Plus, again, not all civs get Chariot Archers.
