Nah, surely you can see greek obviously rules all. (j/k)
Ok, assuming yam does own RoR without any close contenders... how would you propose toning them down?

So as I said, if they're so good no other civ has a chance vs them, how could they be made weak enough for other civs to have a chance?

It seems pretty risky though, because for the first 15 minutes or so you'd have 2 allies in tool with almost no resources, while the opponents would all be bronzed and looking for targets... and yammy has a relatively poor iron, compies can kill HAs at equal cost (60 res vs 110 res = almost 2x as many compies), not to mention camels...
Personally, I'd prefer seeing a mace tribbed to bronze and given the resources for a huge army, or egypt if you're more into chariots. Or persian iron (choice of cavs/HA, eles, cats w/eng, triremes+juggs, legions, priests, ...) with a single palmy tribber, and a hittite ally focused on owning the sea, that could be something too especially when the hittite and palmy start catching up technologically. Even assy would be better than yammy in iron, since they HAs shoot 40% more often same as their CAs, and they have siege, towers, priests and legions unlike yammy.
I think yammy is only good while the opponent is in tool age, after that it goes downhill fast.
