I've tried searching for a solution to this problem I've been having but I can't find anything on these forums. Maybe I'm using the wrong search terms or something...
Anyway, I mostly play 8 team, SP, conquest games (with 7 AIs) starting from Nomad using RoR. If an AI completes a Wonder they no longer build or repair anything. They'll only repair the Wonder. If the Wonder is destroyed then they will repair other buildings, but no new buildings are ever created. As a result of this problem, no new farms are built and the AI eventually runs out of food, if they're not defeated beforehand. I've used this flaw as part of my own strategy at times (e.g. destroy the military buildings before the Wonder), but I wanted to try and find a fix for this.
Alternatively, I can create a random map scenario and remove the option to build Wonders, but if there's another solution, then that would be awesome. Any help?

wll i think that if you attack their wonder they will repair it...quite pointless as repairing a wonder is the most 'time expensive' activity in the game...but yes, although it doesn't happen always, AI players seem to change quieta a bit before and after a wonder is built.

You're right, they will repair the wonder. However, they won't repair any other buildings. And if a building is destroyed, like a Stable or Barracks, they will not build a new one.
So if a computer player is Yamato and they have cavalry, (assuming they have built a Wonder) I can simply destroy the stables and they will never produce any more cavalry.
Has this been experienced by other players before?

I added that UPatch 1.05 and the problem isn't corrected. In Campaigns if there is already an AI Wonder existing at the beginning at the game then they will repair other buildings and construct new ones, but in Random Maps the problem is still there. It doesn't seem to matter which civilisation is used, or which victory condition the game is set to.
I usually play with the following settings: Random Map, 8 player (4v4), Conquest, Narrows/Inland, Nomad, Hardest, Default resources, No Full Tech Tree, No Reveal Map, and Fixed Positions if you want to try and replicate the issue.

there must be some hardcoded rule that makes computer players sent most of his villagers as "builders" when the "build wonder" event is triggered.
After that, the normal villager configuration may not be restored.
Even if I'm wrong, it seems unlikely we can fix that behaviour. I'm not saying impossible, I don't know enough how this works ;-)

Well I don't mind the graphics, I don't mind the lack of formations, I don't mind the historical inaccuracies, but what really gets on my nerves regarding AoE/RoR is the Artificial Unintelligence lol
