Hmmm intretesting because in 1 vs 1 maps there isn't enough resources to last for that long...usually hehe.
Well the game i lasted the longest was the first times i played RoR's trial: Battle of Tunes it took 22 h for me to beat that scenario lol.

I once botched the initial Babylon campaign, "Holy Man," where you have a lone priest to convert a whole primitive civilization.
The Red Axemen nailed my priest pretty quickly--priests don't run very fast, alas. And eventually I was left with just one villager and enough wood to build a storage pit in an odd corner of the board. (The relentless Axemen pillaged my Town Center, houses, villagers, etc.)
Well, that one stubborn villager eventually came all the way back to the Iron Age. But the game ran so long, that ALL the resources ran out. No gold, no stone, no food, no WOOD, even. I had killed all my Red opponent's people, and he had nothing left but towers guarding a few buildings.
I had only one Chariot Archer left. And he had the range on the Red towers. So, he could shoot them without being hit, but knocking down all towers would take hours.
I declared a victory for myself, on the theory that I COULD theoretically play all night and destroy the opponent's remaining structures.
But it was really a draw.
