I have recently found my copy of AoE while cleaning my house and am attempting to install it onto my laptop (which might be the reason). I have searched and searched and searched, trying to find some way to install AoE onto my laptop. My main problem is because I am using Vista. If there are any computer-wiz people out there, can someone help shine some light on this problem? Your help will be greatly appreciated!

It should install properly, at least it did for me. You should then play it in compatibility mode.
You can use the search utility, that yields http://aoe.heavengames.com/cgi-bin/aoecgi/display.cgi?action=t&number=1&dp=0&s_name=&s_subject=vista

Well my problem is trying to get the game to install. The farthest I've gotten to install is 93%, once i get it installed, I'll cross the bridge to getting it to work. Is there any other advice as to how to get it to load?

You can try the troubleshooting forum for more technical help. Be sure top tell what flavour of Vista you have, that might affect the problems you have with it. Graphics and sound card might give trouble, maybe antivirus and/or firewall and other such software are the problem. But I sadly don't know.
