Inspired by a book on ancient empires that I'm reading, I dusted of the old Age/ROR games the other day. Now I can't remember how do you queue up farms? Thanks

You cannot queue them in AoE/RoR - that is something introduced in AoE2 (specifically the Conquerors expansion).

I've heard you can do it with the unpatched versions but maybe that was just a rumor.

There is one trick I have been told about - "hotkey" your granary so you can check back quickly between battles/tasks.

As long as the game involves anceint civs it is okay in my book. (the idea of infinite food farms is tempting)
