random topic: since each civ has their own techs that they don't have...
talk about certain techs you wish or know a civ could historically and/or reasonably have.
for example:
armored elephant for egyptian..come to think of it, in aoe egyptians had iron shield (a hidden tech! which is also the prerequisite for armored elephant in which they should reasonably have?) but they didnt have bronze shield?? in ror egyptians had no shields.
or how about greek chariot? although the greeks never used them in battle to much extent due to the rocky terrain in greece nevertheless they were still used and in fact you can see them being used in the glory of greece campaign intro video
roman guard or even ballista tower? ES bothered to make the architecture of such in ror so i see why not have them?

Catapults (i'm not asking for H cats...yet) for carthaginians.
Engineering for Shang (i think that's more important than ballistics and doesn't enable Ballista tower).
Artisanship and Craftsmanship for Persians.
Sorry for going offtopic but: Temple (no techs) for macedonians so they can train a healing unit.
