I wish to play around with the hitpoints of all the units. Is there an easy way to do this? eg. text file?

I have tested the triple hitpoints scenario [forgot who made it].

Any suggestions welcome.

No, apart from the lengthened combat mode the only way to do this is editing the empires.dat with AoED and RoRD. To do so I would recommend that you at least read the articles about technical data structure here.

Sorry - I should have looked a bit harder, but thanks anyway. I have managed to discover how to edit existing units - now to create new ones...
