Hi

I like to make large battles between huge armies in the scenario editor, but it's a pity the bodies of the fallen disappear after a few minutes.
It would be awesome to follow the course of the battle by looking at the dead bodies in the aftermath of the battle.

Does anyone know about a dead bodies staying mod?

Bye

There is none ATM. I suppose one of us could make one.

You could have a CPU villager constantly cutting wood until reaching an enemy army and tweak the personally to make it retreat to the other army, start a battle that the other army can't win. Dead bodies.

With this, the timing is crucial. You have to expect people playing this scenario to get to a certain location by a certain point. So one way is to have larger armies, so that the fight between them will take longer, produce more bodies, etc.

Alternatives
---
-Closer to player's location.
-Cutscene, Invisible Demons on a battle field, set it so you win when the player that should win, wins.
-Cutscene, Invisible Demons on a battle field with bodies rather than armies. Set up a CPU gathering berries in the corner constantly and the scenario ends (Player 1 Victory) when they get a certain amount of food.
-???
-Profit.

Catapults stay...

"Mrcheeze your genius but not quite a Gumble-kind-of genius." - Gumble
"We're all friendly here except MrCheeze but he means well" - Ninetales (Not exact words)
"Gumble has no words for you, you’re boring now. -underrated- that’s a joke, Gumble is OVERSTATED." - Gumble

I think he means humans.

However, I do agree. Diamonds are great and all, but catapults are forever.

A mod like that is easy to make, but that would, however, prevent you from building on the dead bodies, or even worse, walking over them.

Could you easily walk over a pile of dead people, including their armor and pointy swords in real life? You'd have a hard time and you'd possibly walk around them to avoid tripping.

You can build on catapult remains, can't you?

He means if he made them persistent.

Persistent units can't be built on unless someone finds a different way to do it.

This is pretty cool. You can actually make lots of stuff with dead bodies staying forever, like a Hell Scene or something.

Animals always rot and disappear before human corpses, even for elephants cavalry and camelry, why?
