Hello,
I have recently installed Age of Empires (with Rise of Rome) and progressed through the numerous (including Reign of the Hittites and The First Punic War) challenging campaigns. Actually, only the scenarios of Pax Romana and Enemies of Rome are left to complete.
To go strictly to the point, I was wondering is the following: does someone know where the player profiles (ie: campaign progress and game settings) are stored ? I tried deletingdefault.uh and *.uh but my profile is still available for selection in the menu.
On a side note, I find this game as fantastic than it was back in 1997. Most campaign scenarios have taken me 1 to 2 hours, and offered more than decent challenge on themoderate setting compared to contemporary games. Has anyone successfully passed through the missions on the hardest setting ?
Also, is it possible to beat the Battle of Zama (Expansion 1 Rise of Rome campaign) scenario without building a wonder ? I usually enjoy utterly annihilating every single building and unit of the enemy (walls and fishing/transport/merchant boats usually endure my wrath as well) and en economic victory does not seem very manly to me. :O
