AoE/RoR has so many wonderful campaigns/scenarios.
Just for celebrating this day (and several tomorrows, too) how about we each talk about our favorite campaigns. Or our favorite scenarios.
AoE/ROR is a gold mine. Though there have been other Age games, (and I have very unsuccessfully attempted them all...)there is something magic (as Phill would say) about this first game in the series.
I keep coming back to it because it is always a delight and has yet to be "all used up."
And because though it is a deep game, it still has an element of simplicity. (Compare it to the tedious, complex game like AoE3!) (I once had a teacher who talked at length about the "wisdom of simplicity.")
I also like Civilization. But you could spend your life figuring out Civ4, whereas Civ 1 (even with a few bugs) has the core game in all its beauty, yet maintains a simplicity.
So how about we take a little time and post when we can about our favorite campaigns/scenarios?
