In the last scenario of the Egypt campaign, the older midis play in a totally new way, it feels like they were remixed or something. AOE has a common problem of having a gap between two MIDI musics, is it just a gap or there are other problems too such as parts of the MIDI being skipped or something?

Are you maybe talking about "piano mode"? That's what happens when you change to the desktop during the game.

About the gap, yes, that's common. Get used to it, as there is no solution.

I am not sure whether its because of the piano mode, but the music looks totally changed. Is there is something like midi files being not fully played ( resulting in a gap between two musics ) or its just a gap and the midi files play properly?

I believe it's just a gap - if you open the music manually it isn't any longer.

I am noticing a lot of stuff going wrong with the game right now, heres one:
in MUSIC2.midi at 01:00 a disturbing sounds starts in the background which disappears at 01:07 and then again at 02:33 it starts and this time without any other sounds and remains till the end of the track.. it seems like a error in file, or is thats the way it is.

I better stop thinking about all this stuff or i'll end up posting 999 questions !!

I was interested so checked it out and I have that with my music as well. Same time frame too. It sounds like a vibration of sorts. Could be part of the music.

I've heard that in-game before only in AoE, not RoR. I think its part of the music, sounds kinda like a vibration. It isnt exactly disturbing though...trust me, i've seen some pretty disturbing stuff. The internet is a scary place if you arent prepared.
