Due to replace of my old pc I had to install AOE again.
How do I import my old saved games so I can continue the campain instead of palying the same games again.
It is not enough to copy the games into the savegame folder. My old usernames do not appear in the select player menu. (The game is not installed on C: but on another partition)
Please can any body help me

It seems you need to copy the game0.nfo file from the old Age of Empires folder - it contains info about what campaigns you have played.

thank you for quick reply
unfortunately I do not have the old file, but in the new installation folder there is a folder called learn here my old usernames is listed as seperate files with last name xx.uh. Is it posible to use them? for instance to transfer them to an new created folder I have never seen a folder called game0.nfo - may be because I didn't know the importance of it. Would it help if I started with creating a new player and then transfer the XX.uh files?
I appreciate your help so far it is the nearest I have come to a solution.
best regards
peter

Oh dear - I suppose you need those files. Hm, save those files to another folder, create new player names from the old ones, and overwrite the newly created player.uh files with the old ones. Maybe that works. If that doesn't work, you can cheat your way to where you were.
