I checked and I don't have any other Microsoft Games folders. How do I boot my PC up without the AntiVirus software?

I don't think you need to turn off the antivirus - and if you do, you can turm the antivirus off before you start installing. A few questions:
- What system do you have btw? Most people have the game running on XP and don't have problems.
- Are you sure you have a healthy CD?
- Maybe you can create the Age of Empires folder manually.
Hope that helps.

1. XP SP2
2. Well, it's worked fine on three other PC's I installed it on.
3. You mean create a folder before installation, then install it to that folder?

I guess I forgot to do the most obvious thing of all: Try a different hard drive. I switched to a different one and it works. Thanks for all the help anyways, and sorry for the inconvenience.
