Is any patch or program which make possible to make and watch replays from Aoe 1 ?
Is any possibility to connect to a game as observer?

Some tactic question. How to stop big villager (and some bowman/axe) rush of Shang in Tool age?

Welcome.
Not sure about your first questions but I'd say No. You can connect to games as an observer, but I'm not sure about the details.

Shang rushes are very hard to beat. For hints, click on the Age of Empires Heaven link in the orange/yellow bar, then on the home page, consult the Multiplayer and Singleplayer hints sections.

AoE has no record or replay function. Those were introduced in games that came after it.

You can't connect as an observer as an option, but you can join a game and then instantly resign, so you then become an observer until you leave.

To connect to a game as an observer, you will have to resign in the middle of the game as Phill has said. However, it would be best to enter the game together with another player as a single player (that means, you both set the same civs and player number). Then, when you're in the game, just resign and watch the others fight it out.

Shang villager rush? ROFL that's practically useless. I assure you that you will never see it now. Only crazy players use it, and only the best of the best players in the world can execute it to perfection. If he lets me recover just a bit, I have a high chance of beating him. A villager rush that isn't carried out properly will just slow down the whole game as both sides struggle to reach Tool age with hardly any villies left.

Now, a better question would be how to counter Shang Tool rushes. I agree that they're hard to beat. You will just have to be aware of what's going on around you all the time. You can do so by constantly checking the achievements screen during the game. Especially against fast civs, always check the exploration percentage. If you see that a Shang player has very high exploration, you know what he's up to.

If you are lucky enough to find his villies building a barracks near your base, send as many of your villies as possible over to kill them and stop the barracks from being built. Also, it would be wise now to relocate your woodies. It's easy to run and relocate your foodies in Stone/early Tool age, so you can have them continue gathering food to Tool asap. Woodies are stuck to a forest and they're easy to find.

Remember, before you Tool, leave some spare resources, just in case. You don't want to be attacked by axers and scouts with +2 attack and armour while you're in the midst of Tooling. What's the use of reaching Tool then? You'll be left with nothing but just a couple of villies hiding behind some forest while your TC is being hacked to oblivion by your opponent. Defend your villies at all cost. If you lose even half of them you can resign.

If your Shang opponent is not very competent and Tool rushes you when you're already in Tool, be very glad. You should be able to wall in now and take out any enemy units inside your base with your own Tool age units. As long as you can hold out and keep your econ intact, your opponent has failed miserably and will from then on be slower than you for the rest of the game. High chance of you turning the tables and beating him.

What exactly happens when two people are one player?

You are the same civ, and both can control the units of that civ., and can see the same etc.etc. I do htat sometimes if im beta testing a campaign, because two people can work out strats, or find bugs far better than one person, and this is helpful for hte campaigns hints section as well as, of course, bug fixes.

Here's something from the Sound of Music.

Quote:

Children:
There's a sad sort of clanging from the clock in the hall
And the bells in the steeple too
And up in the nursery an absurd little bird
Is popping out to say cuckoo
Marta, Gretl, Brigitta:
Cuckoo, cuckoo

Children: Marta, Gretl, Brigitta:
Regretfully they tell us Cuckoo, cuckoo
But firmly they compel us Cuckoo, cuckoo
To say goodbye . . .
Marta, Gretl, Brigitta:
Cuckoo!
Children:
. . . to you

Children:
So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, good night
Marta:
I hate to go and leave this pretty sight

Children:
So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, adieu
Friedrich:
Adieu, adieu, to yieu and yieu and yieu

Children:
So long, farewell, au revoir, auf wiedersehen
Liesl:
I'd like to stay and taste my first champagne (TO FATHER) YES?
FATHER: NO!

Children:
So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye
Kurt:
I leave and heave a sigh and say goodbye -- Goodbye!
Brigitta:
I'm glad to go, I cannot tell a lie
Louisa:
I flit, I float, I fleetly flee, I fly
Gretl:
The sun has gone to bed and so must I

Children:
So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye

Guests:
Goodbye

Lol, I don't think there is.

Isaiah 13:3-5 : 3I have summoned my warriors to carry out my wrath- those who rejoice in my triumph. 4Listen...an uproar among the kingdoms, like nations massing together! The Lord Almighty is mustering an army for war. 5They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens- the Lord and the weapons of his wrath - to destroy the whole country!end

Woohoo! Fall of Jerusalem got 4.6! Thanks guys!
Happy New Year!
