Well seeing as ES is releasing a load of new balancing patches for TC surly they should release at least one for RoR.

After all it would only be fair and it would be less work for ES as all they would have to do would be to take peoples suggestions put them in the patch and then release it as a BETA too see if it works and possiably change it was needed.

Yeah that's quite true, but i can't personally see them doing that at all now ...time goes on and new games come out, i don't think they want to go back to older games just to please some die hard gamers unfortunately.

... which is why I think a new expansion pack or a rewrite with a new engine, either of which can be easily be *sold*, has better chances.

For example, they could add more civs at the fringes. Maybe india, celts, goths, korea.

They could also add a lot of nice features from the AoK engine such as land trade, formations, siege packing/unpacking, farms you can walk through, hiding villies in TCs/towers (but no shooting ok?)...

I think it could sell. I'd buy it, anyway.

More patches... I hope they fix that only female villagers get Mayan farm bonus bug, and improve the Byzantines to be alittle like thieir historical counterparts...

No worries ya'll, tomarrow I'm filling in a form at ES that tells them about the Save Game with C Patch Bug and sending in two saved games one that is corrupted one that is not, (or atleast that's what we have always believed the problem is...)

You know the one where if you save with the C Patch sometimes your game corrupts and returns you to the desktop... or worse...

wedsaz,The Koreans is that the same as the Choson?

Female villagers? Mayans and byzantines? Danahib? Pogloma? Rogan?

Quite right about those choson. I just thought it would be fair to add another asian civ, guess I didn't think long enough about which one. How about vietnamese, or skythians?

At ES's site they have a list of all of the 'fixes' though many of them were actually caused by TC...

Ah! just go back and search for some of those great "Enemies of Rome Expansion" and those "if a new patch is going to be released", great stuff to think about
