Myth_Pharoah I'm getting sick of this you seem to pollute AOKH with this message, nearly every single forum has that message in it, So Just Leave in AOKH, It doesn't belong here.

*visits dying AoE Scenario Design Forum wearing a cool AoK/TC T-shirt and a knight's helmet*

*sees tumbleweeds blowing through forum and cobwebs hanging on celings and walls*

*notices familiar post*

That mod really kicks butt! Very professionally done! No sweat!

*notices not much interesting stuff to look at elsewhere in this forum and walks away*

Rome, wait... Rome is more of RoROME's turf IMHO...

It looks very well done , With all due repect, I still can't belive what I'm seeing (nor appeiate it much)... Those gardens are from Caesar 3 and Pharaoh, I'll stick with AoE when I want to play Rome, and AoK when I want to play Middle Ages or Romes Eastern counterpart... AoE and AoK are two very differant games, I don't compare them- two VERY differant time periods, many differant uncomparible units...

Yes most of the eyecandy is from Ceasar III, and a few from Pharoh.

Well sorry guys, thought you might be interested in it, but I guess not.

Enjoy AOE!

Wijitmaker of WFS:

It looks nice. Tell me, have you include more units from aoe/ror?? I mean, academy units, scythe.(cos I saw composite bowmans and long swordmens)

Did the opponents has differents graphics too or it's just for the human player??

We just have the Legionary, Composite Bowman (called Bowyer in the mod, for lack of a better word), and the AOE priest.

I didn't want to make to many changes because these only effect the Meso American civ, and I didn't think it would look right to have Chinese Legions LOL.

About the second part to your question, I'm not quite sure what you mean. The Romans can be either player or computer, depending on the settings for the game.

We plan to expand on the mod, and have the setting around 0 A.D. and we will try to change the civs as much as possible to fit that era, but modding has it's limits. We can only change graphics, and the names of units.

So we would have the Egyptian (hopefully), Jews, Picts.. and all sorts of others.

I still say (no offence on behalf of ya'lls opinion),
Play AoE for 10,000 BC to 476 AD.
(Rome, Carthage-my fav, Hittitusa, Greece, Babylonia, Phoenicia...)

Play AoK for 476 AD to 1600 AD.
(Byzantine-my fav, Saracen, Turkish, France, Spain...)

Scnpunks makes awesome AoK things, (no doubt there) but I just think that there are vast differances between the two games, and neither is a "make-over redo" of the other, I like it that way, and won't stop playing one for the other-ever...

Didn't mean to annoy anyone.

It's okay

It's just that resently allot of AoK people come over, tell us about a 'new game' called AoK, and tell us that everything is known about AoE and so we need to switch (not the case.) I like AoK, but SOME people from the AoK forums have earned a bad reputation around the other HGS forums and detir anything I'd want with AoK forums, like making fun of rookies, those I'm New Here post at AoK are flamed, here and elsewhere everyones like "Hi, stay and chat for a while"...

Stay if you wish we always welcome the returning members who can contribute much to the forums, or atleast play AoE just one more time when you just want something differant to play

Agamemmnon,
MAYBE this will help get you back in the AoE spirit

*Did you ever get the alpha or beta version of AoE???

*I was wondering about those 'lost units' one of your old post makes me want to get all of them (assuming it's real...)
