Welcome! but no i don't know any new ones myself, they've all been pretty much exhausted over the years as you can guess, but we still get good discussions about revising old strats and stuff.

noble: If you're talking about RM, I have a few that aren't really new but never became widely known. CenturionZ_1: That's been done. In DM they get mowed down by siege, in RM the hard part is getting there. A mace cent/cataphract combo is better but the gold cost is higher.

wedsaz: Who said there's no back up to the cents. Anyway, in RM it usually ends up with a hopper rush in bronze. Then there's a nice Roman DM infantry rush. It's a bit like Choson only you build legions and cents as backup to elephants, scythes to backup siegs and sentry towers to hold vital chokepoints.
In RM, personally I think all the strategies are similar, it's about the skill of the player.
overall the whole tactics for AOE/ROR are the same, make lots of vils, make a large army while keeping your economy up and destroying your enemy, all DM starts are based around the same thing just with a small variation (i.e. 5 Tc's instead of 6). A completely new strat is almost impossible because to be good it has to be around making a couple TC's and then rax. Someone is bound to have one the same as you with all the players there are.
The past is useless which is why we move on to the future.
