AoK is laggy on hardware that runs AoE easily. AoK has TCs that shoot down almost any military unit when fully stocked with villies. AoK has ridiculously small civ bonuses, that become almost obsolete by the time they could make a difference since those civs lack upgrades that provide equivalent bonuses. In short, SHUT THE FSCK UP ABOUT AOK ALREADY!!!

As a scenario designer, I prefer AoK. *Triggers*

Still, AoK is better... yes ROR is ok to play every now and then... but the balance is likeshit... personally I don't see a lot of fun in a game that ends in 10 mins due to a mini-rush.

I like AoK's engine (except the hardware requirements), but prefer RoR's units and overall balance. I think RoR needs less adjusting to have truely *distinct* and balanced civs.
