Well, I usually play random civ games in the zone and I got Palmyran for the first time today. (Never played with them before, not even single player.)
It was a 3vs3 game on continental map. Settings were all default.
I told my allies I had Palmy, and one immediately said "ooh no". I thought, well let's make the best out of it, you never know.
I knew I was going to run out of food soon, so I started with shorefishing first. After that pit, I buidt a gold/wood pit and then one granary near berries. Then another shorefishpit and a dock.
I tooled with 20 vills, accidentally clicked on the production key for another vill Now I'm wondering, is this amazingly good for the Palmy civ? I usually bronze betweeen 15:00 and 17:00 with a berrie start. Even with a shorepit start, I'm in most games over 14:30 with a slow civ. And besides, like I said, this is my first game with Palmy.
I would like to hear from other players when they Bronze with Palmy. And why do you all hate this civ so much? If you can bronze below 14:30? Isn't that good enough? Besides, they got CA's, SC's, HC's, HHA's, AE's, ballistics, ball towers, speedy camels, (every bronze unit actually), what could you possibly want more?
Brey,
maybe soon a Palmy-freak
