Okay, I could do something about it - but i do need some feedback from ya then. Some players asked questions, I answer them - did that help? Did I give away too much, too little?
For what difficulty levels are they to be meant? Easiest, hardest?

Fire away

And of course where do I publish it? this site doesn't add anything; HM's is about ROR.

AoE Aqueduct! The site me and a few friends are working on, it has sections for all the games, AoE/RoR AoK/TC. We'd be glad to take your articles.

So we have a place where to put it - now the other answers.
It's nice you can announce something but it's even nicer if it's going to be worthwhile.

Ok, some thoughts then.

With giving stuff away, yes I know what you mean, you want to help people but not spoil it for them. Suggest a few things to do at first, then more help if still needed.

I guess a good starting point would be to look thru the posts and see what advice you have given people in the past - obviously it was useful and didn't spoil it too much otherwise we wouldn't be talking about this.

As for easy to hardest, really in my xp that just decides how quickly the CP attacks - the scenario usually plays the same, just easier or harder. But you could say e.g. CP attacks within 8 mins on hardest, and has 50-50 chance of starting offensive on easiest, like that.

Any more thoughts I'll put them on this thread.

My site is about aoe too, because it's a part of ror, but I'm not sure I want hint sheets anyway...don't see much value in them, unless there was a subsite that made them for as many scenarios as they could get their hands on...say all the ones that make it into the scn archive that's going up.

Phil Phree:
In my xp the CP gets more aggressive at higher levels. At easiest you may be able to sneak past an enemy army and they seem to ignore you - at hardest you don't have a chance of that.
Try the assassins one in Yammy - at easiest you can walk through their town and all those cats, archers and what not just say how do you do and let you pass - but at higher levels you get squashed there
Apart from that it's much the same, that's true.

Well, I hope Peter will write these hint sheets for us and for those who will come to the game after us.

One thing about Peter, that I have found from my own experience. He has integrity for the spirit of the game, and he is not going to take a campaign and spoon feed it to you so that you have no challenge left. He is not going to ruin your chance to do most of it yourself.

I know. I have tried to pick his brain on the infamous 2nd Scenario for the First Punic War. He will give me hints. But he won't give it all away.

And that is the way it should be. You see, he won't rob you of a chance to keep going at it on your own. And if finally you are "Victorious," you will have that good feeling inside that you really were.

Phil Phree:
Thanks, but it was a to be secret really

Darius:
1. Where do I find that site? Can you give me a link?
2. I'm currently reworking the text to HTML so you get real sheets with hints per prob - really primitive but I suppose your folks can rework that to something better. But that way it's clear what belongs together.

Peter, I'm one of the other co-founders that Darius mentioned.

Answers:
a)We are still working on the site. It probably won't launch for a few months , but when it does...we have(or aim to ahve) a LOT of content.
b)Yes, we can handle that. We would prefer it in HTML form, if you are doing that.

Thanks!

It would still be good if I could publish it somewhere now for testing and comment purposes - I may be leaving things out that other ppl got probs with and perhaps I also include too much.
