Can someone give me some advice on how to do this one? I have managed to get a few troops to the bottom of the screen and meet up with my allies but how do i complete the mission with this force? By the time i land them on the minoan shore i get swamped by forces and have nothing left by the time i get to the top of the hill.I must be doing something fundamentally wrong here, help!!!!

You should attack from the west - first cross the river in the west and take down the towers there, destroy all ballistas too, then land with your entire army there. Destroy the enemy dock that blocks the extra transports and land with them on the west coast of Minoa. Then move eastward. Try to keep your cats and ballistas whole.

I think Peter is right on this one too. You have to move along slowly, an all out blitzkreig attempt will often falter against the fortified heights. Move slowly, taking out the towers as you go, taking plenty of time to keep your siege healed up. Try to lure some of the enemy down off the heights and kill them at the sea front. The full frontal attack must come eventually but you want to weaken the defense substantially before you take that step.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
