Yams= They owns RoR... As simple: any maps=> Assy= Good civ but no Slings so they sux for a tool war (even tho they got super tool arhcers)... Hittos= A stupid civ cuz they got a full tech tree or so with lame military bonuses making 'em a super civ on rivers map and especially small maps with rivers cuz of their super boats range: thir problem=> Babys= Good civ (a bit over average) but nothnig special with 'em except their super towers-slings rush in tool age (prolly the best rush available in RoR)=> Shangs= Well, """IF""" you're able to get to brz, Shangs can beat Yams=> Maceds= A very good civ to tool rush with (extra LOS=> Persians= This civ can get to tool really fast and they rox when you tool rush with 'em: Nothing else to do with that civ (they got a bad tech tree in brz like maceds=> Greeks= 2nd worst civ for RM games: no archers, no good bonus and no camels but a full siege and towers in Iron except the fact that Greeks won't get to Iron ;P ... Carths= The worst civ in RoR in RM games: they got the best navy for Iron DM games but in RM, their navy is just normal due to the fact that this civ shouldn,t be able to get to Iron and use the best unit available in the game: carths fire galley=> Choson: Well, maybe the 3rd worst civ in RM games: nothing good to say 'bout 'em: they got a normal tool rush and their brz and Iron in pretty crappy... Summies= A very good Hills civ and a normal civ on all other maps: I personally hate 'em on all maps except Hills cuz of their good farms for a long and cheap tool fight (u need less wood for a bunch of food)... Egypts: I hate that civ except on Hills for their good CA... Phoes: Well, they sued to rox RoR before the patch 9 months ago: they are now a normal civ with lots on brz techs and their Iron ain't that great: btw, no good bonuses to use in tool-brz by 'em except maybe wood but: don't play phoes for wood bonus or you're gonna be spanked big time by the top civs... Romz: the safest civ to tool rush there is in RoR: so cheap buildings: you need less strags and therefore, they aren't as much map dependant as """ALL""" the other civs are: you cna make 24 villas and click tool age right away on Hills with this civ even if you got crappy strags (no other civ can match that in a "normal spot" when there's no double berries or super hunting): so you're tool under 9:30 easily, very easily and you got a very good econ with clubs on the ennemy=> Palmy: they are the best civ for team strats like Slingshot. They are also very good """IF""" you got a very good understanding of the game and know how gathering rates works: with that civ, you'll be able to make 20 villas and brz in 12:00 on Hills with what is considered the slowest civ by the average players if you use the standard gran-pit-gran start as everyone use: use some strats and weird thingy and you'll be amazed of what Palmy can do ;P NOW::::::: Plz, Wedsaz, don't reply telling me Pers beats anyone with Hunting: this little resume was made considering 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 on ANY SETTS, ANY MAPS: this is what experts plays and btw (def ress, no rev), on a NORMAL MAP: not a map with 4 dumbos by tc, no use of Shore Fishing and not double berries and considering maknig 16-20 or 24 villas: I know Pers are good but thewy aren't the best cuz they are MAP DEPENDANT: if you got crappy hunting, Pers are as "fast" as Hittos, Babys, Sums except that they got no wheel, 2nd woody and their brz tech tree sux ;P This is the same for Palmy: they are the hardest civ to use on Hills in a game between very veyr good players cuz Palmy 16 villas is slower to tool than any other civs with 16: only reason is cuz their villas cost more food ;P and you need to gather more food and the bonus they got (faster workers) won't be good enough to help you getting back in the race: but if you know the trick on Hills with 'em and go with 20 villas on a NORMAL spot (I mean, normal food), you'll be amazed of what 16, 20 or 24 villas can make with 'em. I know many of ya are gonna disagree but this is what I think and the conclusion I got after been playing vs the best players on the zone and finding ways to improve rushes and strats: I got to some conclusions and this resume is 'bout a NORMAL MAP: plz, Wedsaz (I know you'll say you can make 60 villas in 11:00 brz as Phoes with 1000 towers on the field and Iron under 14:00 with 2k of Eles) ;P ... I know the things you say impress a few pplz in here but a bunch of very good players all know those things are impossible to do and also that a bunch of those strats are kinda weak (like the Minos fastboom or something and also maknig a fast brz with Pers) ;P ...
