Is there a valid reason why Fire Galleys are disabled when the 'Full techtree' option is selected in the Scenario Editor or is it a 'bug' in ROR ?

From what I can make out, no civilization seems to have both Fire Galleys and Catapult Triremes/Juggernauts. Is this the reason why they are disabled?

Any help or clarification will eb greatly appreciated....

You guessed the answer. There physically is not enough space for all the different boat types on the interface bar.

It sucks having to make design decisions based on things like that, but those are the kind of risks you take when you decide to make an expansion after the game is complete.

Accualy, I think it is kinda' cool that a civ. can only get one type of "special" fighting boat. You have to chose weither you want long range destructive power or short range fire power.
A civ. with Juggs and Fire galleys would be a real super power on mostly sea maps. Could you imagine a civ. such as Phoenicia with both? All and all, I think the balance of sea warfare is much better in RoR.
